At Abergavenny Nursery, we provide a nurturing, caring environment for babies through to toddlers. This is where children take their very first steps in development — building confidence, forming secure attachments, and feeling safe to explore the world around them.
 

Just a short walk away (482 meters), Abergavenny Nursery Too offers a dedicated preschool environment. Here, children benefit from a more enriched and structured approach, designed to prepare them for their transition into school while still embracing the joy of childhood.
 

Together, our two settings create a seamless journey — from first steps to school readiness.
 

Why We Created Nursery Too
 

As our nursery has grown, so has the demand from families in our community. We reached a point where we were consistently full and having to turn away families — something that never sat comfortably with us.  Nursery Too was created to change that.
 

But more than that, it was shaped by the feedback from our families, past and present. You told us that what matters most is our family-centred approach — the time we take to listen, to understand, and to tailor our care around each child’s individual needs.  This remains at the heart of everything we do.
