Family Feedback & Continuous ImprovemenT

At Abergavenny Nursery and Abergavenny Nursery Too, listening to our families is one of the most important ways we continue to grow and improve.

As our nursery family has expanded, including the opening of Abergavenny Nursery Too, we wanted to ensure we continued hearing directly from the people who matter most, our children and families.

Our family feedback surveys help us understand:

  • what we are doing well,
  • where families feel most supported,
  • and where we can continue to improve and develop.

We use this feedback to shape everyday practice across both settings, from communication and routines, to learning experiences, staffing, environments and safeguarding procedures.

The feedback we receive is not simply collected and stored away. It forms part of our wider quality improvement and self-evaluation process, helping our leadership teams reflect, review and plan for the future.

This approach supports us to:

  • maintain high standards as we grow,
  • ensure consistency across both settings,
  • strengthen partnerships with families,
  • and continue building nurturing environments where children feel safe, confident, happy and excited to learn.

We are incredibly proud that families consistently highlight:

⭐ warm and caring relationships
⭐ strong communication
⭐ children feeling settled and happy
⭐ welcoming environments
⭐ trusted leadership and support

We would like to thank every family who took the time to complete our survey and share their experiences with us. Your feedback genuinely helps shape the future of our nurseries and supports our commitment to continuous improvement for every child in our care.
